In the United States, and to a large extent in Western Europe and Japan, the legal system is fairly transparent, although sometimes complex. In many other parts of the world, this is not the case. While there are promising markets for your products or a more inexpensive supplier, the pitfalls for the unwary of operating in this environment are many. Some of these can include dishonest business partners, corrupt officials, unstable political/legal environments, unfair court systems, and can also include the physical safety of you and your team during overseas visits. CHRIS ANGLE
Founder and Principal
Chris Angle has spent the last 30 years in several different industries including commercial lending, international logistics, and agriculture. After spending 16 years analyzing businesses for banks, Chris decided to open a company that would take his experience analyzing & interacting with business owners as well his international experience & connections, and use them to help companies looking to expand overseas. In addition to overseas experience, Chris’ educational background in International Relations and International Economics & Finance and the fact that he speaks three languages (English, German, Italian) (and a small amount of Russian) makes him uniquely experienced to establish rapport with potential overseas business partners.

TOM ANGLE
Founder and Principal, Swiss Flow Solutions
Tom has 45 years of pump engineering experience, alternating numerous times between technical and management positions, depending on organizational requirements. During this time he has visited and worked with customers to help them resolve pumping hydraulic and mechanical problems in over 25 countries, After a 35-year career with WEMCO/Weir, in 2010 he relocated to Switzerland to take over the technical leadership of Hidrostal AG. In 2017, after retiring from Hidrostal, he founded the firm Swiss Flow Solutions GmbH. Swiss Flow Solutions provides worldwide consulting in the areas of mechanical engineering design for pumps, hydraulic and pump system analysis, energy savings analysis, on-site troubleshooting, and training /presentation.
